You have a head full of ideas — a poster for your event, posts that stand out, a logo, a presentation that leaves a mark — but the blank page and complicated software stop you in your tracks. This training removes that block. With Canva, you hold a complete creative studio right in your browser, and here you learn to use it like a real designer: not by stacking templates at random, but by mastering the rules that make a visual beautiful, clear, and professional.
The approach is firmly hands-on. You first get to grips with the tool — the interface, the layers, the templates, the element library — then you lay the foundations of design: composition and alignment, choosing and combining colors, typography and the hierarchy of information. You then apply these basics to real, useful projects: your visuals for social media, your brand identity with the Brand Kit, your print materials (poster, flyer, business card), and even a short animation. Every session produces something you keep, not just theory.
By the end of the program, you no longer put up with templates: you repurpose them, you create your own layouts, you maintain a consistent graphic style, and you export your files in the right format for both web and print. You leave with a portfolio of concrete work and, above all, with a designer's eye — that ability to look at a visual and know, in an instant, what works and how to improve it. Whether it's for your business, your association, or your career, you gain a creative independence that will stay with you for good.
This training doesn't leave you empty-handed: session after session, you build ready-to-use deliverables.
A portfolio of visuals — social media posts, poster, flyer, business card, and presentation, created with your own hands.
Your brand kit — logo, palette, fonts, and reusable templates for a consistent image everywhere.
A designer's eye — the composition, color, and typography reflexes that make every creation look more professional.
A path that starts with getting to grips with Canva, lays the foundations of design, then applies them to concrete, useful projects. Every session produces a real visual that you keep.
1. Discovering the interface — the workspace, project formats, templates, elements, text, and layers: the entire Canva studio at a glance.
2. Templates and library — choosing a template, repurposing it intelligently, importing your photos, and drawing from the bank of images, icons, and shapes.
3. Composition and layout — alignment, grids, margins, white space, and the rule of thirds for a balanced and readable visual.
4. Color — understanding the color wheel, creating a harmonious palette, playing with contrast, and conveying emotion through color.
5. Typography and hierarchy — choosing and pairing fonts, handling headings and body text, guiding the eye through visual hierarchy.
6. Visuals for social media — posts, stories, and banners in the right formats, produced as a series for a consistent presence.
7. Your brand identity (Brand Kit) — logo, palette, fonts, and templates saved for a unified image across all your materials.
8. Print materials — poster, flyer, and business card: layout, bleeds, margins, and preparation for print format.
9. Presentation and animation — designing a clear presentation and bringing your visuals to life with a simple animation and a video export.
10. Exporting in the right format and organizing your work — choosing PNG, JPG, web or print PDF, managing transparency and quality, and tidying up your projects and templates to reuse your work.
