Theater & Stage Presence
The curtain rises, all eyes turn to you — and everything is decided in the first few seconds. The stage forgives nothing, but it reveals everything: this is where the voice carries, where the body speaks, where presence commands silence. This program puts you on the boards for real. You'll learn the craft of the actor, but also that rare and precious art that goes beyond theater: inhabiting a space, captivating a room, and conveying an emotion — whether under the spotlights, in a meeting, or in front of an audience.
The approach is physical and hands-on. You start with the actor's foundations — breathing, grounding, voice, body — to free yourself from stage fright and find your center. Then you explore the craft of acting: embodying a character, delivering a text, listening to your partner, bringing a genuine emotion to life. You work on the art of the stage — movement, gaze, rhythm, command of space and silence — to hold the stage and hold your audience. Every session is a living workshop: you stand up, you perform, you improvise, you start again, and presence takes root session after session.
By the end of the journey, you step on stage to perform a real showcase in front of an audience — and you walk away with a confidence that will stay with you for good. Mastering your voice, your body, and your stage fright will serve you everywhere: an interview, a presentation, a public speaking moment, a meeting. Theater will have been nothing more than the most demanding and the most joyful training ground to reveal what you already carried within you — your presence.
What you walk away with
Far more than knowledge: a visible transformation, on stage and in life.
A confident stage presence — you inhabit the space, you capture attention, and you hold a room.
A mastered voice and body — projection, articulation, breathing, and gesture in service of emotion.
Stage fright tamed — you turn fear into performance energy, on stage and in any public speaking moment.
A real showcase on stage — you perform a scene in front of an audience and live the full stage experience.
Program — 8 sessions of 1 hour
A hands-on journey on your feet, through acting: you start from the ground and the breath to tame stage fright, you free the voice and the body, you discover the joy of embodying and occupying the space, then you step on stage to turn these instincts into living presence — useful on the boards as well as in a meeting, an interview, or in front of an audience.
Module 1 — Foundations: grounding, breath & stage fright (sessions 1-3)
1. Stepping into the game & grounding to the floor — Breaking the ice through group games, then feeling your weight, your footing, and your axis: walking, stopping, standing "inhabited." We set up the warm-up ritual that will open every session.
2. Breathing & release — Abdominal breathing as the engine: low breath, relaxing the shoulders, the neck, and the jaw. Exercises to slow the heart rate and settle inner silence before performing.
3. Taming stage fright & holding your gaze — Naming the fear, turning it into energy. Direct-gaze exercises, from the "let yourself be looked at" challenge to the silent face-off, to stay present when all eyes are on you.
Module 2 — Voice & body: the actor's instruments (sessions 4-5)
4. The voice that carries: projection & articulation — Placing and projecting your voice without straining, playing with volume, pace, and silence. Tongue twisters and addressing the far end of the room to gain clarity and authority.
5. The expressive body: posture, gesture & space — Reading and composing a body language: open posture, intentional gestures, movements that reinforce your message. Mime and status (high/low) to make every attitude legible.
Module 3 — Acting & presence: embodying and reacting (sessions 6-7)
6. Emotion & intention: bringing the character to life — Summoning a genuine emotion and bringing it to life in the body and the voice. Performing the same line under several intentions to discover that it's the intention, not the text, that creates presence.
7. Improvisation & listening: the "yes, and…" — Letting go of control and reacting in real time: accepting offers, bouncing back, truly listening to your partner. Improv as training for spontaneity and ease in the face of the unexpected.
Module 4 — Taking the stage: the showcase (session 8)
8. Enter, perform, bow: the stage in public — Bringing it all together in a short performance in front of the group: a controlled entrance, presence owned from start to bow. Supportive feedback and transferring what you've learned to any public speaking moment — meeting, interview, stage.
