Excel pour Débutants
Excel pour Débutants
Excel for Beginners
You look at a spreadsheet and mostly see an intimidating grid of empty boxes. This training turns that apprehension into ease. Step by step, with no jargon and no prerequisites, you'll tame Excel — the world's most widely used tool for organizing, calculating, and presenting data — until you feel completely at home with it. Here we truly start from scratch: opening a workbook, entering your first data, and finally understanding what all those columns and rows are for.
The approach is 100% hands-on. In every session, you do the work yourself: you build a personal budget, an expense tracker, a contact list, or a small dashboard. You discover the magic of formulas — adding up a column in a second, calculating an average, working out a percentage — then the essential functions like SUM, AVERAGE, and IF that put Excel to work for you. You also learn to format your tables cleanly, to sort and filter so you can find information in the blink of an eye, and to create clear charts that speak for themselves.
By the end of the course, Excel will no longer be a chore but second nature. You'll know how to build a clean table, calculate it automatically, present it with charts, and print it flawlessly. Above all, you'll come away with genuine independence: the confidence to dive into any table on your own, at work or at home, and the curiosity to keep going further. A concrete skill, sought after everywhere, that immediately strengthens your resume.
What you'll walk away with
Far more than concepts: concrete reflexes and ready-to-use tables that you'll keep.
Reusable templates — a budget, expense tracker, and dashboard you built yourself and can reuse right away.
A formula toolkit — a clear cheat sheet of essential functions (SUM, AVERAGE, IF, lookup) so you never get stuck again.
Genuine independence — the confidence to open any Excel file and master it, without panicking.
A skill that matters — a mastery worth highlighting on your resume and useful in almost every profession.
Program — 10 sessions of 1 hour
A progressive, 100% hands-on course: we start from the empty grid and, session after session, you build real tables. Each hour, you do the work yourself and walk away with a concrete skill gained.
Module 1 — Discovering Excel (sessions 1-3)
1. First steps in Excel — the interface, the ribbon, workbooks and sheets; cells, rows, and columns: finding your way and navigating without fear.
2. Entering and editing your data — typing text, numbers, and dates; correcting, copying and pasting, and using auto-fill to save time.
3. Organizing your sheet — adjusting width and height, inserting or deleting rows and columns, and saving your work properly.
Module 2 — Formatting (sessions 4-5)
4. Polishing the presentation — fonts, colors, borders, and merging cells for clear, professional tables.
5. Number formats — displaying amounts in dinars, percentages, and dates correctly, and using conditional formatting to make the essentials stand out.
Module 3 — Calculating with Excel (sessions 6-8)
6. Your first formulas — adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing between cells; understanding the « = » sign and references.
7. The essential functions — SUM, AVERAGE, MIN, MAX, and COUNT to put Excel to work for you with a single click.
8. Testing and copying down — the IF function for « case-by-case » calculations, percentages, and absolute references to copy down without errors.
Module 4 — Leveraging & sharing (sessions 9-10)
9. Sorting, filtering, and visualizing — sorting and filtering your data to find information, then creating a first clear chart (bar, line, pie).
10. Printing & final project — flawless page layout, preview, and printing; you assemble a complete dashboard that brings together everything you've learned.
