Fundraising: How to Prepare a Compelling Investor Pitch
You're leading a project, and you know that at some point, you'll need to convince investors to believe in you as much as you believe in yourself. Raising funds is not a matter of luck or connections: it's a skill that is prepared, structured, and mastered. This program teaches you to build, piece by piece, an investment pitch that inspires confidence — a clear vision, solid numbers, a compelling pitch — to turn a simple meeting into a real funding opportunity.
The approach is hands-on and results-driven. You start from your story and your market, then build the core of the pitch: a Business Plan in which you master every assumption, every cost, and every scenario. You learn to build credible financial projections, to discuss valuation and dilution without apprehension, and to design a visual pitch deck that captures attention in just a few slides. Finally, you understand the investor journey — how much to raise, from whom, and at what stage — to avoid rounds that are too early, too small, or too dilutive.
By the end of the program, you walk away with a complete investment pitch, ready to present, and with the confidence of someone who knows how to defend their project before a fund, a business angel, or an investment committee. You'll know how to tell your story, run the numbers, negotiate, and close the deal. Raising funds will no longer be a stressful and opaque ordeal, but a process you lead from a position of strength.

Program — 12 sessions of 1 hour
A step-by-step journey that takes you from your story to a presentation-ready pitch: first the strategy and the narrative, then the numbers of your Business Plan, next the pitch deck and negotiation, all the way to assembling the complete investment pitch.
Module 1 — Strategy & narrative (sessions 1-3)
1. How an investor thinks — what a fund, a business angel, or a committee is really looking for: team, market, traction, return potential, and exit potential.
2. Your vision and your market — articulate a powerful and realistic ambition, define the target market, and demonstrate real growth potential.
3. Problem, solution & business model — clarify the problem you solve, your solution, and how your startup makes money.
Module 2 — The Business Plan & the numbers (sessions 4-6)
4. Build credible financial projections — revenue, assumptions, growth: forecasts you can justify line by line.
5. Costs, margins & break-even — master your cost structure, calculate the break-even point, and demonstrate a clear path to profitability.
6. Scenarios & risks — prepare conservative, realistic, and ambitious scenarios, and know how to present risks with clarity.
Module 3 — The pitch deck (sessions 7-8)
7. Build a compelling pitch deck — the structure that wins people over: market, problem, solution, traction, model, team, and funding needs.
8. Present & persuade in person — deliver a clear and visual pitch, capture attention, and answer questions with confidence.
Module 4 — Raise & negotiate (sessions 9-11)
9. How much to raise, at what stage — size your funding needs, choose the right moment, and avoid rounds that are too early or too small.
10. Valuation & dilution — understand how a valuation is set, what you give up in return, and protect your cap table.
11. Term sheet & negotiation — decode the essential clauses, negotiate with confidence, and secure a balanced agreement.
Module 5 — Finalize the pitch (session 12)
12. Assemble your investor pitch — bring together vision, Business Plan, pitch deck, and appendices into a coherent, professional, presentation-ready pitch.
