Effective Communication

You have ideas, convictions, important things to say — and yet, all too often, the message gets lost, distorted, or fails to land. This training gives you back the power to be understood, heard, and followed. Communicating effectively is not a gift reserved for a select few: it is a set of precise skills that can be learned, practiced, and mastered. Whether you're facing a colleague, a team, a client, or an entire room, you'll learn to turn every exchange into a moment that is clear, fair, and genuinely useful.

The approach is concrete and deeply practical. You start from the foundations — understanding what's really at stake in a conversation: the verbal, the non-verbal, and listening — then you build your confidence brick by brick: structuring a message so it's crystal clear, tailoring your delivery to the person in front of you, handling a difficult conversation without being overwhelmed by it, defusing a conflict, giving feedback that helps people grow, and speaking in public with assurance. Each session draws on real-life role-plays, applied exercises, and cases taken from your own professional day-to-day, so that theory immediately becomes a reflex.

By the end of the program, you'll no longer communicate the same way. You'll know how to listen in order to understand rather than to reply, express a complex idea with simplicity, persuade without forcing, say difficult things with tact, and captivate an audience. These skills will follow you everywhere — in meetings, interviews, negotiations, in your emails as well as in your relationships — and will become a real driver for your career and your self-confidence.

What you walk away with

Far more than concepts: tools you'll be using the very next day.

A complete toolkit — active listening, structuring, and rephrasing techniques ready to use in all your conversations.

Genuine ease when speaking — the ability to speak up, in meetings as well as in public, with clarity and confidence.

Mastery of tricky moments — knowing how to handle a conflict, say no, give feedback, and defuse tensions without being overwhelmed.

Your personal growth plan — a concrete roadmap to keep growing your impact long after the training.

Program — 12 sessions of 1 hour

A progressive journey that starts from the foundations of communication, trains you in listening and clarity, then prepares you for the most demanding moments — difficult conversations, conflicts, and public speaking — before consolidating what you've learned into lasting reflexes.

Module 1 — The foundations of communication (sessions 1-3)

1. What's really at stake in an exchange — sender, message, receiver, and the filters that distort them; why a message that's clear to you isn't clear to the other person.

2. Body language — posture, eye contact, gestures, and voice: mastering the non-verbal that accounts for most of your impact.

3. Active listening — listening to understand rather than to reply: questioning, rephrasing, and silence that get the other person talking.

Module 2 — Making yourself understood (sessions 4-6)

4. Structuring a clear message — getting to the point, organizing your ideas, and delivering a crystal-clear message even on a complex subject.

5. Tailoring your delivery to your audience — reading profiles and expectations, choosing the right tone and the right level to be heard by everyone.

6. Assertiveness — expressing your needs, your limits, and your disagreement with calm and firmness, without aggressiveness or self-erasure.

Module 3 — Demanding conversations (sessions 7-9)

7. Leading a difficult conversation — preparing for, opening, and steering a delicate exchange (an announcement, corrective feedback, a sensitive topic) while preserving the relationship.

8. Managing conflict and tensions — understanding the source of a disagreement, defusing emotion, and turning opposition into a solution.

9. Giving and receiving feedback — delivering feedback that helps people grow and welcoming criticism without getting defensive.

Module 4 — Shining in speech and in writing (sessions 10-12)

10. Public speaking — taming stage fright, capturing attention, and structuring a talk that leaves a lasting impression.

11. Communicating in writing and remotely — emails, messages, and online meetings: being clear, concise, and professional without the non-verbal.

12. Your growth plan — a recap of what you've learned, final role-plays, and a personal roadmap to lastingly anchor your new reflexes.
